On Saturday, March 9, MPA students participated in the annual Capitol Day. This day is a combined class of the public and nonprofit administration, public policy and tribal governments students. for the They were able to meet with Senator John McCoy and Representative Larry Seaquist. This included a tour of the capitol as well as private meetings in the executive buildings. Member of the Faculty Eric S. Trevan explained “It’s important that we provide relevant experiences balanced with foundational theories in order to prepare MPA grads for leadership opportunities in the public sector.”
