About the Eugene Clean Energy Fund Initiative<\/strong><\/p>\n

Local climate, health, housing, labor, and social and racial justice organizations* have come together to launch the Eugene Clean Energy Fund (ECEF) Initiative, planned for a vote on the November 2026 ballot. By establishing a business license fee on the gross profits of Eugene\u2019s wealthiest businesses, ECEF would fund programs to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and household energy burden; expand public-owned renewable energy, transportation, and other green infrastructure; create high-road jobs in the green economy; and build community-wide climate resiliency, especially for Eugene\u2019s frontline and historically marginalized areas.<\/p>\n

Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Eugene Clean Energy Fund (ECEF) is hiring two (2) full-time Field Organizers for the 2026 election. This is a position for passionate and experienced campaign operatives who will be working with volunteers and paid canvassers, and executing an ambitious field program to support the Eugene Clean Energy Fund ballot measure. The Field Organizers will report directly to the ECEF Field Director, with an anticipated start date in mid-September.<\/p>\n

The Field Organizers will help execute the campaign\u2019s coordinated field effort, which is focused on persuading and turning out climate motivated voters to vote yes on Measure 20-388. The Field Organizers will collaborate closely with community partners to ensure that all of Eugene\u2019s communities are engaged and empowered in order to be successful this November.<\/p>\n
