As the future leaders of the city, youth are the foundation for climate action and solutions. We are looking for innovative project ideas to support during the 2026-27 school year. <strong>Applications are now open and will close on September 15, 2026.<\/strong><br \/><br \/>The project is being supported by a grant from Bloomberg Philanthropies as part of their worldwide <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.org\/government-innovation\/spurring-innovation-in-cities\/youth-climate-action-fund\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Youth Climate Action Fund program<\/a>\n<div class=\"sr-only\">Opens in new window<\/div>\n<br \/>\n<h2 class=\"subheader\">What should the project focus on?\u00a0<\/h2>\nEach project must pick one climate priority to focus on:<br \/><br \/>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Sustainable Transportation<\/strong>: Projects that help people choose alternatives to driving (e.g. biking, riding public transit)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Waste Reduction and Circular Economy<\/strong>: Projects that help reduce waste or encourage reuse of materials.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Community Action and Stewardship<\/strong>: Projects that increase energy efficiency, disaster preparedness, environmental protection, or raise awareness of climate change and impacts.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\nNeed some ideas?
