We are an energetic and eclectic team of individuals with green hearts and innovative minds. Advancement and education opportunities are available.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Preference may be given to those with native plant knowledge and\/or landscaping experience.\u202f\u202f\u202f&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Summary<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The Land Management Specialist performs tasks involving physical labor to implement ecological restoration and shoreline stabilization projects. The position may operate a variety of hand and power tools and small equipment and may clean and prepare sites, dig trenches, install plants, and remove and dispose of vegetation.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Removes approved trees, shrubs, vines and other vegetation from project sites.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Mixes and applies herbicides (with an applicator\u2019s license) to approved vegetation.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Seed and plant grasses, forbs, shrubs and trees.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Operates vehicles and equipment, such as passenger vehicles, brush mowers, chain saws or skid steers.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Maintains a clean job site: picks up all tools and equipment and secures job site each day.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Maintains equipment and tools used.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Loads and unloads trucks and hauls materials.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Maintains restored sites multiple years after installation through mowing, weeding, pruning, and targeting herbicide applications.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Maintains confidentiality and compliance with all safety rules, regulations and standards as well as all CLM policies and procedures.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Position Type\/Expected Hours of Work<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This is a full-time, year-round position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday starting at 7:00 a.m. with 40 hours per week minimum.
