This position is responsible for overseeing riparian project development and implementation, ensuring technical quality and consistency, supporting conservation planning and technical assistance, managing larger or more complex restoration projects, co-coordinating the District\u2019s annual native plant sale, and supporting staff through training, guidance, and coordination. The Riparian Restoration Project Lead serves as a technical resource for riparian restoration, conservation planning, planting design, and project implementation on public and private lands. This role helps lead riparian grant programs, supports landowner engagement, develops site-specific restoration and planting plans, and works with District staff and partners to move projects from initial site visit through planning, implementation, maintenance, and closeout. Potential growth opportunities for this role include expanded habitat programming, supervision, and program management.
