Experience<\/td>\n<td class=\"job-meta-value\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservationjobboard.com\/experience\/entry\">0 &#8211; 1 year<\/a><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"job-frame__description_content\">\n<p>The primary role of the Environmental Educator (E.E.) position is the development and presentation of engaging informal education programs (school field trips, summer day camps, et al) based on natural and environmental science concepts, skills and activities for ages 2 \u2013 12th grade. Team teaching and collaboration are keystone components, with creativity and fun always encouraged. Programs typically include outdoor explorations and hands-on activities and include but are not limited to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1-2 hour long curriculum-supporting nature education days for school group<\/li>\n<li>Weekly series for caregiver\/young child pairs (Early Explorers) and Homeschooled Students<\/li>\n<li>Summer day camp week-long themed sessions for ages 4 \u2013 12.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong data-stringify-type=\"bold\">Time Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Year long positions&nbsp;schedule generally do not exceed 80 hours per two-week period (occasional evenings &amp; weekends):<br>School Year (Sept &#8211; May) is Monday thru Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm.<br>Summer (June \u2013 August) is Monday through Friday with hours varying between 7:30 am to&nbsp; 5 pm.<\/p>\n<p>Summer positions&nbsp;hours are an average of 40 hours per week developing and leading summer day camps, with the week leading up to our containing July 4th off.<\/p>\n<p><strong>NOTE: Housing in NOT included or provided.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div class=\"job-frame__how-to-apply test_job_how_to_apply\"><strong><span class=\"job-frame__how-to-apply__button\"><span class=\"job-frame__how-to-apply__button__text\">How To Apply<\/span><\/span><\/strong>\n<div id=\"how-to-apply-content-276786\" class=\"job-frame__how-to-apply__content\">\n<p>Apply and learn more online at <a href=\"https:\/\/natureplacelacrosse.org\/jobs\/environmental-educator\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/natureplacelacrosse.org\/jobs\/environmental-educator\/.<\/a>Questions?
