Applicants for this role are required to demonstrate the ability to lead wetland delineations independently with knowledge of the local, state, and federal wetland regulatory process. This role offers opportunities to engage in a variety of tasks, including:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Wetland delineation and assessment<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Strategic regulatory planning and permitting<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Wetland mitigation bank design and assessment<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Ecological restoration planning and site monitoring<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Wildlife habitat and botanical surveys<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Environmental compliance observations<\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1. Degree in biology, ecology, natural resources, or related field<\/p>\n<p>2. Minimum 5 years professional experience completing wetland delineations<\/p>\n<p>3. Professional Wetland Assurance Certification is desirable, although not required<\/p>\n<p>4. Proficient in native and nonnative plant identification<\/p>\n<p>5. Field-ready: adaptable to remote, diverse field conditions<\/p>\n<p>6. Strong communication and technical writing skills<\/p>\n<p>7.
