IslandWood\u00a0Summer Camps on Bainbridge Campus\u00a0invites\u00a0children to discover a new way of seeing nature, themselves, and one another. In doing so, each person comes to understand their ability to change the world for the better.\u00a0IslandWood\u00a0operates traditional day camp programs for campers 4 years-old through those entering 8th grade. Running from late-June through early-August, these experiences directly address\u00a0IslandWood\u2019s\u00a0mission of inspiring lifelong learning and environmental and community stewardship. Position Description:<\/strong>
Summer Programs Instructors (Pre-K through K) are responsible for leading educational programming using curriculum that integrates science, technology, arts, teambuilding, and adventure learning. PreK-K instructors will spend their mornings co-leading a group of up to 12 campers (ages 4-5) and will provide afternoon support to other instructors as an activity lead for campers entering 1st through 6th grade.<\/p>\n
