Each participant is limited to entering a maximum of one print and one digital submission in the contest (these can be two completely separate projects, or a related project in two formats).<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n- \n
Each submission must be received by May 5, 2026<\/strong> at noon and include a written abstract about the submission.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n- \n
Each submission must specify which category the presenter wishes to submit for.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n- \n
For all entries, provide a .png file of the map, application, or script and a url to an online version if submitting for a digital category. This will need to be provided at the time of submission.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n- \n
For physical submissions, maps\/posters must be a maximum size of 24\u201d x 36\u201d, and can be brought to the conference center on either 5\/19 (Workshop day) or by 8:30 am on 5\/20 (First day of the conference).<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n- \n
Printing scholarships are available.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n- \n
Jupyter Notebook assistance is available upon request.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n- \n

Analytical- Stand-alone images analytical in nature. Creative, effective, insightful integration of geospatial data.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n- \n
Artistic- Innovative visual expression of cartography and geographic concepts, using any type of physical and\/or digital media.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\nDigital Submissions:<\/span><\/p>\n\n- \n
Apps- Interactive applications that may be consumed on a browser or a mobile device. Effective, attractive, functional, engaging.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n- \n
