The GIS Specialist ensures accurate land ownership data, maintains forest inventory and vegetation coverages, supports GPS data management, and produces technical maps and analyses for operational, legal, and policy needs.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Quinault Indian Nation<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Operates on a 32-hour work week (Monday-Thursday) | Full health and dental | 401k with match | 4 days of wellness leave | 14 paid holidays | Annual and sick leave commensurate with tenure<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop GIS analyses and custom map products<\/li>\n<li>Maintain geodatabases and synchronize forest inventory data<\/li>\n<li>Support ArcGIS Enterprise &amp; ArcGIS Online environments<\/li>\n<li>Manage GPS data collection and updates<\/li>\n<li>Provide technical GIS\/GPS support and training to staff<\/li>\n<li>Maintain GIS hardware and software systems<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Minimum Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Associate\u2019s degree in GIS, Geography, Computer Science, or related field (Bachelor\u2019s preferred)<\/li>\n<li>Four (4) years of GIS experience (education\/experience combination considered)<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise\/Online, Python, and GPS technologies<\/li>\n<li>Valid driver\u2019s license and ability to meet QIN insurance requirements<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Experience in forestry, natural resource management, or Tribal land management is strongly preferred.
