This position is stationed in Bandon, OR at Bandon Marsh National Wildlife Refuge.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Duties include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Identify, monitor, map and remove invasive plants to improve habitat conditions<\/li>\n<li>Participate in the restoration project at Crook Point (requires camping at a remote field site with no running water or electricity, ~1-2 nights\/week)<\/li>\n<li>Conduct weekly nest monitoring of black oystercatchers and other on-going seabird research projects<\/li>\n<li>Assist with native pollinator garden activities<\/li>\n<li>Assist Shoreline Education for Awareness with on-site interpretation and education for visitors on the seabirds and marine mammals of Oregon Islands Wildlife Refuge<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>B.Sc. preferred or some undergrad coursework in biology, natural resources, park management, or related field required<\/li>\n<li>U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident under age 31<\/li>\n<li>Valid state driver&#8217;s license<\/li>\n<li>Must be able to work independently and in groups<\/li>\n<li>Must have good observational and communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Schedule flexibility, including weekend, holidays, and morning\/evening
