We deliver services that our neighbors rely on for their quality of life \u2013 whether it\u2019s safe water to drink, heat and light to keep them warm and safe, or energy to power businesses fueling our local economy.<\/p>\n<p>This summer position with Snohomish PUD\u2019s Natural Resources team focuses on sustainability and education of natural resources at the Woods Creek Hydro Project and Sustainability Center. Primary responsibilities include developing planting plans, preparing pollinator beds, overseeing invasive weed management, leading volunteer events in the food forest, and creating educational materials and web content. The role also provides a high-level overview of the operation of FERC-licensed hydroelectric projects, offering hands-on experience in vegetation management, natural resources stewardship, and community engagement.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div>\n<h2><b>Minimum Qualifications<\/b><\/h2>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div>\u2022 Must be 18 years or older at time of application.<\/div>\n<div>\u2022 High School student or student currently enrolled in an undergraduate, graduate or vocational program, working toward a degree or certification.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div>\n<h2><b>Experience\/Education<\/b><\/h2>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Current transcripts, progress reports, and\/or student enrollment histories are\u00a0<em>required<\/em><em>\u00a0at time of application.<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Proof of student status for upcoming quater is required prior to hire.
