Interns contribute to the development of innovative, analytical, high quality and commercially relevant products and services, typically working on multiple projects with all levels of staff.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Our Interns are given opportunities to work on assignments that foster growth and allow them to develop solutions within the renewable energy sector. Through client engagements, colleague and peer interactions, and specialized training, ICF Interns develop subject matter expertise and project management skills.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n This is a full-time, 10-week internship that will begin in early June 2026. This is a\u00a0fully remote\u00a0internship from any U.S. location.\u00a0At this time, relocation assistance is not available.\u00a0Pay is expected to be $23\/hour for undergraduate interns and $28\/hour for graduate interns.<\/b>\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n General Responsibilities<\/b>\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Develop and review project documentation.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n Perform energy modeling and\/or technical reviews for solar, wind, renewable fuels, and\/or\u00a0battery\u00a0energy storage systems projects.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n Research technology\u00a0development,\u00a0and manufacturing trends.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n Work with the carbon intensity team and help develop training tools.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n Read, interpret, and critique project\/system design drawings.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n Apply technical background to evaluate\u00a0new technologies.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n Document reviews and analyses with sufficient technical depth but still accessible to non-technical clients.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n Minimum Qualifications<\/b>\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n A minimum of 30 completed college level credit hours\u00a0in Engineering (Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, or Renewable Energy engineering), Computer Sciences or related\u00a0field.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n Preferred Qualifications\u00a0<\/b>\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n A completed bachelor\u2019s degree plus enrollment verification in a Master\u2019s degree program\u00a0in Engineering (Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, or Renewable Energy engineering), Computer Sciences or related field.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n Strong interest in the renewable energy industry.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n Knowledge of PVsyst for candidates interested in solar engineering.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, VBA,\u00a0Python\u00a0and\/or project management related tools\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n Experience in developing and managing documentation and data analysis.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n Ability to read and\u00a0comprehend\u00a0project engineering drawings and documentation.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n Strong intellectual curiosity, ability to solve complex problems, and\u202fenthusiasm to learn beyond what is\u00a0required\u00a0for daily tasks; a willingness to dive into new topics\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n Capability to extract\u00a0tends, extrapolate, and understand information from a set of data.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n Technical research skills and ability to work with and understand\u202ftechnical concepts, while also being able to communicate them to varied\u202faudiences.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n Excellent written and oral\u202fcommunications\u00a0skills.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n Ability to work under deadlines in a\u202ffast-paced environment and a capability to prioritize tasks; strong time management, analytical, and\u00a0inter-personal\u00a0skills.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n Working at ICF<\/b><\/u><\/p>\nICF is a global advisory and technology services provider, but we\u2019re not your typical consultants.
