documents activities; conducts inventories and condition assessments; assists with research and data collection to update water rights inventories and to help determine water rights utilization and optimization;\u202f and performs related duties as assigned.\u202f\u202f\u202f<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\u202f\u202f\u202f\u202f\u202f\u202f\u202f\u202f\u202f\u202f\u202f\u202f\u202f\u202f\u202f\u202f\u202f\u202f<\/strong>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ditch Delivery Infrastructure Maintenance\u202f\u202f\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Conducts various treatment methods including weed whipping, manual removal of vegetation with shovels or clippers.\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Mows using tractors and attached mow decks, herbicide applications, tree and shrub cut stump\/chain saw treatments.\u202f\u202f\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Uses heavy equipment such as backhoes and mini-excavators, performs ditch maintenance on water infrastructure including ditches, laterals, headgates.\u202f\u202f\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Uses survey tools such as laser levels to assure proper conveyance through ditch infrastructure.\u202f\u202f\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Assists with operations and monitoring of reservoirs, ditches, and other water assets.\u202f\u202f\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u202f\u202fInventories and Condition Assessments\u202f\u202f\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>Uses ArcGis and Collector software to catalog water delivery infrastructure and perform condition assessments of infrastructure.\u202f\u202f\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Leadership\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Leads volunteer and paid work crew daily work plan meetings.\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Communicates project goals and details.\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Ensures safe and quality work.\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Resolves conflicts among crew members.\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Maintains a positive team environment.\u202f\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Openly shares successes and challenges to support team learning and individual growth.\u202f\u202f\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Reporting &amp;
