Members of SERNW are actively protecting and restoring ecosystems throughout the Cascadia bioregion which includes Washington, Oregon, Montana, Idaho, Alaska and Northern California. We provide a unique opportunity for members to coordinate restoration efforts and gain technical skills specific to Pacific Northwest ecosystems.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Application Process<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/e\/1FAIpQLScyaR3ROhpItGokBGjRetuBH0ioabzEQUuIrUs0uk151_j91A\/viewform?usp=header\">Please submit electronically using the 2026 Application Form<\/a>. Include:<\/p>\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Cover page with project title, name, mailing address, email, study system and location, institution, SER membership status, and requested funding amount.<\/li>\n<li>Research proposal (3\u20134 pages, single-spaced, excluding references) with:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Abstract (&lt;250 words)<\/li>\n<li>Introduction, research questions, and objectives<\/li>\n<li>Methods, expected results, and significance<\/li>\n<li>Literature cited<\/li>\n<li>Tables\/figures embedded in text<\/li>\n<li>Clear explanation of how your research supports restoration<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Project timetable<\/li>\n<li>Budget and justification, including research partners if applicable<\/li>\n<li>CV (1\u20132 pages)<\/li>\n<li>Unofficial university transcripts<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>File submission guidelines:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Begin each filename with your last name<\/li>\n<li>Use standard file types (doc, docx, rtf, odt, pdf)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>Note: If you received an SER NW Student Grant in the prior calendar year, please wait one year before reapplying.<\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Upcoming Information Sessions<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Have questions?
