The U.S. flag and Washington State flag are raised on a flagpole, and there are landscaped shrubs, a manicured lawn, and trees with autumn leaves under a cloudy sky.\" data-uw-rm-alt-original=\"\" data-uw-rm-alt=\"HD\" \/>\n<p id=\"isPasted\"><em>Region 6 Headquarters \u2013 Photo Credit: WDFW<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Join our Region 6 office in Montesano as a Customer Service Specialist 2, where you\u2019ll provide critical support to the public and help connect our diverse communities to the services and programs offered by WDFW.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>As a front-line representative, you\u2019ll play a key role in assisting customers with inquiries related to agency programs, rules, laws, and procedures.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>You\u2019ll act as a liaison between community members and WDFW staff, ensuring accurate information is communicated and services such as license sales are processed efficiently.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p id=\"isPasted\"><strong><u>What to Expect-<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Among the varied range of responsibilities held within this role, the\u00a0<em>Customer Service Specialist 2\u00a0<\/em>will,<\/p>\n<br \/>\n<p id=\"isPasted\"><strong>Interpret Agency Policies and Procedures:<\/strong><\/p>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide interpretation and advice on agency policies, procedures, rules and regulations for hunters, fishers, the recreating public, and regional staff using appropriate examples and supporting information.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p id=\"isPasted\"><strong>Explain, Advise, and Sell Agency Recreational Licenses:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide accurate information about license types and package options.<\/li>\n<li>Resolve issues related to licenses purchased from other License Vendors.<\/li>\n<li>Sell fishing and hunting licenses using both cash and credit technologies.<\/li>\n<li>Balance tills and resolve discrepancies as needed.<\/li>\n<li>Act as liaison between Licensing staff in Olympia and Regional License dealers.<\/li>\n<li>Facilitate access to resources through the sale of appropriate licenses.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p id=\"isPasted\"><strong>Resolve Customer Issues and Inquiries:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Independently resolve customer problems by identifying issues, determining appropriate procedural steps, coordinating with program staff, and communicating outcomes.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrate knowledge of disability-related regulations and assist customers with disability status requests for access, hunting, and fishing accommodations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p id=\"isPasted\"><strong>Provide Support to Regional Staff:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist regional staff with daily operational needs, including basic IT troubleshooting, printing support, office supply coordination, and track permitting requests.<\/li>\n<li>Process Order Payment Forms (OPFs) for field staff to ensure timely payments.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with archival projects, mailing services, bulk mailings, and updates to hotlines with timely Program season information.<\/li>\n<li>Proctor tests for Hunter Education, Wildlife Rehabilitators, Trapping and Falconry programs.<\/li>\n<li>Assist sealing wildlife pelts as needed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<br \/>\n<p><strong><u>WORKING CONDITIONS:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Work Setting, including hazards:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Office setting with occasional requirement to go out to warehouses to contact staff.<\/li>\n<li>Some lifting of paper products and pamphlets.<\/li>\n<li>Office space includes a laboratory;
