Are you detail-oriented and a problem solver, and do you want to join an energetic team helping to drive improvement in global fisheries?<\/p>\n<p>If so, this could be the opportunity for you.<\/p>\n<p>As a Senior Fisheries Standard Manager you\u2019ll have the opportunity to contribute to the successful implementation of the MSC\u2019s Fisheries Standard and oversee the certification of fisheries by third-party auditors.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The jobholder will focus on the coordination of key internal processes and the resolution of emerging issues, with a regional focus on North and South America.<\/p>\n<p>You would join a close-knit team who manages the Fisheries Standard and is responsible for more than 400 fisheries in the MSC Program, ensuring that our requirements are applied correctly and consistently.<\/p>\n<p>The ideal candidate will have professional experience that is highly relevant to the operation of a global certification program, as well as a good knowledge of current issues in global wild capture fisheries. This includes those of relevance to the certification of marine, freshwater and salmon fisheries.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Some of the key tasks that you will be involved in are:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead the development, implementation and evaluation of internal policies and procedures<\/li>\n<li>Undertake case management work on emerging fisheries-related issues<\/li>\n<li>Support the development of communications materials related to the Fisheries Standard and certification processes<\/li>\n<li>Play an active role in team leadership and contribute to its effective running<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate designated areas of the team\u2019s operations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To be successful in this role you will have professional experience in developing and\/or implementing effective procedures, such as those in auditing, assessment, research or other highly-structured activities; a proven ability to collaborate effectively within and across teams; and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.<\/p>\n<p>We are looking for a highly motivated individual with the ability to balance a varied workload.
