Early Greeners Reunite after 50 Years to Revisit Potential for Reintroduction<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_elementtoproof\">In the summer of 1975, fifty years ago, seven students came together at Evergreen to conduct a ground-breaking study on\u00a0the feasibility of reintroducing wolves to Olympic National Park. Supported by a\u00a0National Science Foundation (NSF) grant, the project combined field work, historical research and computer simulation, and it anticipated by two decades the\u00a0return of wolves to Yellowstone\u00a0and elsewhere.
