Participate in planning and implementing engagement activities to support implementation of WDFW\u2019s 25-Year Strategic Plan.\u00a0\n<ul>\n<li>Identify, promote, and develop monthly communications for the volunteer outreach team.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Promote agency services by attending public events and serving as liaison between the agency and external organizations.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Support the Community Partnerships and Outreach Lead in managing the Department\u2019s Outreach Tracking System.\u00a0\n<ul>\n<li>Evaluate staff use of the system and make outreach recommendations to CAPE leadership based on data submitted to Outreach Tracking System.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Support staff\u2019s use of the system, including developing and maintaining training aid(s) that support staff, responding to Help Form submissions, and providing system outage notifications. \u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Manage administrative tasks of the system including implementing updates from ESRI and the Department\u2019s IT division.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Consult with staff and support the coordination of events by engaging with the Department\u2019s programs and regions to facilitate participation.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Advise regional and program staff in best practices for intaking and responding to internal and external event and outreach requests.<\/li>\n<li>Create and develop strategic outreach plans and materials for community outreach activities and advise staff on effective community outreach strategies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Provide Administrative and Materials Support:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In collaboration with CAPE team, identify needs for outreach materials and coordinate with administrative staff to make purchases on behalf of CAPE.<\/li>\n<li>Manage and maintain outreach events and activities on WDFW public event calendar.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain outreach supplies inventory at the Natural Resources Building (NRB) and at WDFW\u2019s warehouse.<\/li>\n<li>Support facilitation of live events via Microsoft Teams or Zoom.<\/li>\n<li>Manage Outreach Resources SharePoint page.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Assist with Multimedia Coordination:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Contribute to quarterly Life Outdoors newsletter for anglers, hunters, and wildlife enthusiasts.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Promote events and public engagement opportunities on WDFW social media platforms in coordination with Creative Media Team. \u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Working Conditions:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Work Setting, including hazards:\u00a0<\/strong>Fast-paced, deadline-oriented job with the majority of work within an office environment. Some outdoors activity which may include exposure to inclement weather and walking and standing outdoors on uneven surfaces. May require bending and lifting (up to 30 pounds) and transporting, setting up, and breaking down tables, chairs, and pop-up tents. Regular travel to WDFW warehouse for materials inventory which will include using a 4ft ladder. Office hazards include working under fluorescent light, repetitively entering data into computer, looking at computer monitor for long periods of time, sitting or standing for long periods of time.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Schedule:\u00a0<\/strong>Typically, Monday \u2013 Friday,<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>8:00 A.M. \u2013 5:00 P.M. Some weekend and evening work is required.
