The Pacific Cascade Region is seeking a\u00a0<strong>Wildland Fire Training Coordinator Assistant.<\/strong>\u00a0This position works directly for the Wildland Fire Training Coordinator. As a team, this position supports every aspect of the Pacific Cascade Region\u2019s fire program by assisting with planning, implementing, tracking, and documenting training\/business, and administrative tasks.\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/dd>\n<dt>\n<h2>Duties<\/h2>\n<\/dt>\n<dd>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist with compiling monthly Visa logs assigned to the PC Region Fire Staff. Check for completeness, obtain a signature from the District Manager, and scan the completed and signed Visa log to PC Accounting.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure all Fire Program IIRs and SRIs are complete and reviewed by the District Manager and submitted as required by policy.<\/li>\n<li>As requested and directed, draft official correspondence for review, approval, and then distribute as appropriate.<\/li>\n<li>As requested, send directed mailings (regulation, prevention, etc.).<\/li>\n<li>As requested, schedule meetings, events, trainings, and plan for appropriate logistics.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain external and internal contact lists and ensure that all correspondence goes to the appropriate parties.<\/li>\n<li>As directed by requested, draft cost recovery letters for signature, and then distribute them as appropriate.<\/li>\n<li>Process payments for cost recovery fires<\/li>\n<li>Ensure all Fire Program-related Public Disclosure Requests, legislative, executive management, region management, and other data requests are met as required by policy and law.<\/li>\n<li>Assists with all hosted individual fire training records and ensures they have been updated with training and experience<\/li>\n<li>Print Incident Qualification Cards for signature and distribute to individuals.<\/li>\n<li>Assists with training rosters, course set-up, certificates, and reporting trainings completed<\/li>\n<li>Assist in other areas as needed and qualified (Dispatch, Finance, Operations, Prevention, Reception, Fire District Assistance, etc.).<\/li>\n<li>Computer Skills -Uses various databases, word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software, such as MS Office to create and maintain databases, spreadsheets, charts, graphs, letters, and other documents, using mathematical formulas to calculate data, link worksheets, import data, edit table, columns, format sections, create headers and footers, and work with pictures and draw objects.
