We are hiring for a full time non-permanent Microbiology Lab – Administrative Intern 3 to join our team!<\/strong><\/div>\n

\n

The WSDA Food Safety & Consumer Services (formerly known as Microbiology) Laboratories Program provides laboratory testing for regulatory agencies and agriculture communities to protect public health. The program tests Food, Feed, Dairy, cannabis products, and environmental samples for surveillance and regulatory purposes. Program operational funding includes the general funds-state, local funds, and federal cooperative agreements.<\/p>\nThe\u00a0<\/span>Administrative Intern 3\u00a0<\/strong>assists in a variety of basic laboratory functions, the laboratory Quality System, and the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS). In this position you will receive training in departmental procedures and at the same time will be assigned productive tasks and assignments in a microbiology area.\u00a0

The Administrative Intern 3<\/span>\u00a0position is located in Olympia, Washington and is a non-union represented position.\u00a0This position is required to work in a laboratory setting, which regularly involves long periods of standing and repetitive hand motions while performing a task.<\/p>\n

This position is expected to be filled for 3-6 months.\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n
