Camp Educator Internship<\/u><\/strong>
The Nooksack Salmon Enhancement Association (NSEA) is seeking passionate and dedicated people who are excited to lead 3-6 year old youth in outdoor discovery, rooted in salmon education.\u00a0 Camp Educator Interns will be responsible for co-leading groups of up to 12 campers in outdoor programming including nature exploration, movement games, stories, arts and crafts, and songs based on the unique needs of the group each week as part of our emergent learning curriculum. Camp Educator Interns will gain teaching and youth leadership skills, along with professional skills to benefit professional career pursuits.<\/p>\n

The dates of this position are June 16 \u2013 August 22, Monday \u2013 Friday. This includes a mandatory 1-week orientation at the beginning of the position term along with approximately 15 paid hours of mandatory paperwork to be completed asynchronously before June 16.<\/p>\n

Weekly hours will vary and will feature a rotation of teaching 5-6 weeks of half-day camp (7:30am \u2013 1:30pm) and 2-3 weeks of full-day camp (7:30am \u2013 4:00pm).<\/p>\n

Hours are based on enrollment. If select weeks have low enrollment, Interns are not guaranteed hours for those weeks.<\/p>\n

Each intern will be granted up to 1 scheduled week off during the Internship period.<\/p>\n
