This position is a full-time, temporary position for one year, with the possibility of transitioning into a permanent role based on performance and organizational needs. The successful candidate will be key to our fieldwork crew, supporting various habitat surveys, restoration projects, and surface and groundwater monitoring program.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist in data collection, habitat evaluation, and reporting.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct field surveys, gather data, and monitor outcomes of ongoing restoration work.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in on-site assessments, collect environmental samples, and document findings.<\/li>\n<li>Provide field support, coordinate with project partners, and help implement restoration activities.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with habitat improvement tasks, project monitoring, and related restoration efforts.<\/li>\n<li>Perform data collection and inventory on spring sources and coordinate with team members for accurate reporting.<\/li>\n<li>Support ongoing monitoring efforts, maintain accurate records, and ensure data integrity.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree (or equivalent experience) in environmental science, fisheries, wildlife, natural resources, or a related field.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with fieldwork, data collection, and habitat assessment preferred.<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with GPS\/GIS technology and basic data management tools is a plus.<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication skills for collaboration and reporting purposes.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work in diverse outdoor environments and adapt to variable field conditions.<\/li>\n<li>Positive attitude, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Position Details:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Duration:<\/strong>\u00a01 year, full-time (40 hours\/week).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Potential for Permanent:\u00a0<\/strong>The position will be evaluated after one year for possible<br \/>transition into a permanent role.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Compensation:<\/strong>\u00a0$20\/hour<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"job-frame__how-to-apply\">\n<div class=\"job-frame__how-to-apply__title\">HOW TO APPLY<\/div>\n<p><strong>How to Apply:<\/strong><br \/>Interested candidates should submit a resume, cover letter, and references to<br \/><a href=\"mailto:Wendy.Harris@wwbwc.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Wendy.Harris@wwbwc.org<\/a>\u00a0.
