This position requires a keen understanding of the socioeconomic context of rural and agriculture land management, and experience with fisheries and ecological monitoring.<\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>Ideal applicant is experienced in fisheries monitoring techniques, specifically related to watershed restoration project evaluation and long-term effectiveness monitoring.<\/li>\n<li>Fish identification, with particular emphasis on salmonids is desirable.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Working knowledge of habitat requirements for mid-Columbia anadromous fish species.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of land use and influences on fish habitat.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in data collection, recording and management.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>Requirements<\/h2>\n<p>Bachelor&#8217;s degree in fisheries or related field, plus at least three years of experience conducting biological sampling and\/or ecological monitoring.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>Benefits<\/h2>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Benefits include: Excellent medical insurance with low annual maximum-out-of-pocket costs, plus vision and dental.
