We bring together Tribal, irrigation, environmental, hydropower, and federal, state, and local government interests to accomplish our mission through financing and implementation of voluntary ecosystem restoration projects.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Three major program areas provide focus to our work:<\/p>\n<ul role=\"list\">\n<li><strong>Irrigation Infrastructure Improvements:<\/strong>\u00a0The DRC facilitates water conservation projects with irrigation district partners and their patrons that restore streamflows and improve water quality.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul role=\"list\">\n<li><strong>Voluntary Market-Based Transactions:<\/strong>\u00a0The DRC integrates technical support, innovation, program design, financing, and project execution to implement voluntary market- based transactions to restore streamflows.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul role=\"list\">\n<li><strong>Basin-wide Water Management Planning<\/strong>. The DRC coordinates and leads multi-stakeholder partnerships and cultivates relationships to design strategic solutions to Deschutes basin water management needs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We are governed by a 15-person board of directors and managed by a full-time Executive Director with 11 employees. You will:<\/p>\n<ul role=\"list\">\n<li>Organize and manage multiple concurrent tasks, schedules and budgets to meet outcomes<\/li>\n<li>Foster collaboration and partnership among diverse stakeholders and within the DRC team<\/li>\n<li>Build strong and trusted working relationships with landowners and other partners<\/li>\n<li>Communicate complex technical issues in clear and accessible forms to a variety of audiences<\/li>\n<li>Think creatively and entrepreneurially around complex problems<\/li>\n<li>Inspire innovation with internal and external teams and partners<\/li>\n<li>Build consensus-based solutions to move water management strategies forward<\/li>\n<li>Distill complex and diverse information into effective planning and management strategies<\/li>\n<li>Bring passion and positivity; face challenges with patience, grace, and a sense of humor<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>\u00a0<\/h3>\n<h3>\u00a0<\/h3>\n<h3><strong>WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING<\/strong><\/h3>\n<h4><strong>Irrigation Modernization and On-Farm Improvement Project-Level Management (~65%)<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul role=\"list\">\n<li>In close collaboration with DRC\u2019s Program Managers:\n<ul role=\"list\">\n<li>Assist Program Manager and Irrigation District Partners with bidding, contractor oversight, and contract and grant management to ensure projects are executed on time and within budget<\/li>\n<li>Aid development of future piping and on-farm projects and prioritization strategies<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to grant management and reporting, and support new funding proposal development<\/li>\n<li>Serve as the primary point of contact with ranchers, farmers, and other landowners participating in irrigation modernization and on-farm improvement projects<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><strong>DRC Monitoring Coordination and Oversight (~20%)<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul role=\"list\">\n<li>Manage scheduling, methodologies, equipment and data organization for DRC-led monitoring including,\n<ul role=\"list\">\n<li>Understand all DRC-related data requirements and field protocols, particularly with regard to flow, temperature, and nutrient monitoring<\/li>\n<li>Oversee and\/or conduct field monitoring efforts to ensure necessary monitoring requirements are met<\/li>\n<li>Organize and compile all field-monitoring related data and produce reports, as required<\/li>\n<li>Maintain and manage all DRC-held field monitoring equipment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Assist DRC Program Director\/Program Managers with water quality planning initiatives, strategies, and partnership coordination<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><strong>DRC Team Internal Operations Support (~15%)<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>In addition to the primary responsibilities above, Project Manager may be assigned tasks that contribute to broader Program Team internal\/external goals. These may include but are not limited to:<\/p>\n<ul role=\"list\">\n<li>GIS-based Analysis\/Map Production\/Spatial Data Files Management<\/li>\n<li>DRC Project Outcomes Tracking System: development and integration<\/li>\n<li>Communication Team support \u2013 content development for DRC outreach and education<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>\u00a0<\/h3>\n<h3>\u00a0<\/h3>\n<h3><strong>COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS<br \/><\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul role=\"list\">\n<li><strong>Annual Salary Range:\u00a0<\/strong>$60,000- $70,000, full-time, exempt<\/li>\n<li><strong>Health, Vision, and Dental insurance:<\/strong>\u00a0employee premiums paid 100% by DRC<\/li>\n<li><strong>403(b) Plan:<\/strong>\u00a0DRC starting contribution is 5%.
