Job Summary: The project manager will oversee planning and implementation of a portfolio of ecological restoration projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, environmental science, and a passion for ecological restoration. This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, overseeing project timelines, and ensuring that restoration efforts meet ecological goals. \u00a0This position will conduct work both outdoors and in an office setting. \u00a0This position will report to the Senior Project Manager. \u00a0<\/p>\n
Location: Hillsboro, Oregon. Project sites across the Pacific Northwest.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Transportation: Provide own transportation to work sites, Hillsboro office, or other planned locations. \u00a0<\/p>\n
Compensation & Benefits: $55,000 to $65,000 starting, DOE. Paid time off, sick leave, medical and dental insurance, monthly phone stipend or company issued cellphone, gas stipend, life insurance, retirement. \u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
Essential Duties\/Responsibilities:\u00a0<\/p>\n
\n- Coordinate the execution of restoration projects, ensuring they<\/span>\u00a0me<\/span>et client expectations<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>and ACFM profitability requirements<\/span>.<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>Partner with Project Development Managers to implement new projects.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
- Conduct site risk assessments;\u00a0<\/span>Identify<\/span>\u00a0potential project risks and develop and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful and safe projects<\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
- Monitor project budgets and expenditures, ensuring that projects\u00a0<\/span>remain<\/span>\u00a0within financial constraints; ensure that invoices are sent to clients\u00a0<\/span>and payments received\u00a0<\/span>in a timely manner<\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
- Clearly outline field\u00a0<\/span>staff<\/span>\u00a0on desired project outcomes and goals and ensure that field teams are equipped and empowered to complete assigned projects on time and to quality specifications<\/span>; foster a professional, collaborative, and results-oriented environment on all projects.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
- Act as a liaison between company, customers, field\u00a0<\/span>staff<\/span>, and vendors, and address any questions, concerns, or complaints throughout the project<\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
- Deliver and\u00a0<\/span>maintain<\/span>\u00a0all documented ACFM standards of success in safety, quality, and output, on all projects<\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n

Education and Experience:\u00a0<\/p>\n
\n- Bachelor\u2019s degree in Environmental Science<\/span>, Ecology, Natural Resource Management, or a related field (<\/span>Master\u2019s<\/span>\u00a0preferred).\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
- Previous<\/span>\u00a0background experience in project management, specifically in ecological restoration or related environmental projects.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
- Strong knowledge of ecological principles, restoration techniques, and relevant regulations.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
- 2+ years of relevant field work experience\u00a0<\/span>required<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

\n- Ability, motivation, and endurance for eight to ten hours of productive manual labor<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
