The\u00a0Hazardous Waste and Toxics Reduction<\/strong>\u00a0program\u00a0<\/strong>within the Department of Ecology is looking to fill a\u00a0Consumer Products Regulatory Unit Supervisor (Environmental Planner 5)\u00a0<\/strong>position.

This position is located\u00a0<\/strong>in our\u00a0Headquarters Office<\/strong>\u00a0in\u00a0<\/strong>Lacey, WA.<\/a>

Upon hire, you must live within a commutable distance from the duty station.

We are seeking a leader for our new Consumer Products Regulatory Unit. You will bring together a team of seasoned and new compliance specialists. You will lead the team’s efforts to develop a strategic approach to managing compliance for a portfolio of rules that reduce toxics in consumer products.

Program Mission:\u00a0<\/strong>The\u00a0Hazardous Waste and Toxic Reduction Program\u2019s mission is to protect Washington\u2019s residents and environment by reducing the use of toxic chemicals, safely managing dangerous waste, preventing new contaminated sites, and cleaning up contamination.\u00a0

Tele-work options for this position:<\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong>This position will have flexibility of a hybrid schedule, empowering work from home and office, providing less time in traffic and shrinking your carbon footprint. \u00a0<\/div>\nTravel:\u00a0<\/strong>This position is expected to travel a few times a year to other Ecology offices including our Central Region Office (CRO) in Union Gap, WA.
