This position is located<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>in our\u00a0<strong>Headquarters Office<\/strong>\u00a0in<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ci.lacey.wa.us\/\">Lacey, WA.<\/a>\u00a0Upon hire, you must live within a commutable distance from the duty station.<br \/><br \/>In this dynamic role, you will collaborate with planners, internal subject matter experts, and external partners dedicated to implementing the Chehalis Basin Strategy to restore aquatic species habitat, enhance local economies, and mitigate flood control. You will be the primary planner for developing and managing federal grant applications that support improved aquatic species and flood damage reduction.<br \/><br \/>This role requires specialized knowledge of federal funding opportunities and will provide support to partners seeking federal funding for salmon recovery, property acquisition, and floodplain management.
