Department of Community Development is accepting applications for a Planner position. This is a full-time, union represented position, based out of the Pacific County Administrative Facility in Long Beach.<\/p>\n

Typical Duties and Responsibilities:<\/h2>\n
Review of applications and permits for compliance with zoning, critical areas, shorelines, comprehensive plan, SEPA, and stormwater requirements. The position will also assist with plan\/ordinance development, conduct code enforcement and field investigations, and prepare written and oral reports for presentation to various boards.<\/p>\n

Minimum Qualifications:<\/h2>\n
Bachelor\u2019s degree in Land Use Planning, Public Administration, Community and Economic Development, or Geography with related experience in local land use planning, preferably one (1) year.<\/p>\n
