We\u2019re more fully embracing<br \/>the people and places of our service area: Grays Harbor County and the western Olympic<br \/>Peninsula. We\u2019re reenvisioning our biology, ecology, and anthropology programs as the means<br \/>to an end \u2013 the goal being a reconnected community \u2013 so we can create a more dynamic<br \/>organization that leads a more dynamic region. Though this<br \/>position is created as a part-time position at coordinator level, we anticipate potential room for<br \/>growth in terms of hours worked, job responsibilities, and role within the organization, all<br \/>dependent on the incumbent\u2019s ability to grow with the position. This position is eligible for flexible<br \/>scheduling. More details about community accountability can be shared during the interview<br \/>phase of this job application process.<br \/>Summary of Responsibilities<br \/>Financial Administration &#8211; 75% of hours<br \/>Bookkeeping &#8211; The Operations Coordinator will be responsible for managing the expenses and<br \/>revenue of the CIC in the following ways: (1) receiving and recording all bills and invoices,<br \/>working in coordination with specific CIC board members and Executive Director; (2) receiving<br \/>and recording all earned revenue, including donations, sponsorships, and grants, working in<br \/>coordination with specific CIC board members and Executive Director; (3) sending invoices as<br \/>needed to CIC partners.<br \/>Cash Maintenance &#8211; The Operations Coordinator will ensure the CIC\u2019s cash needs are met in<br \/>the following ways: (1) collecting and recording all cash revenue (earned through visitor services<br \/>or programs) and then depositing that cash; (2) maintaining petty cash for use in the CIC<br \/>bookstore<br \/>Coastal Interpretive Center 1033 Catala Ave SE Ocean Shores WA 98569 360.289.4617 Page 2<br \/>Documentation &#8211; 10% of hours<br \/>Mailing &#8211; Retrieving CIC mail, distributing and filing CIC mail to the correct persons, and<br \/>sending and answering CIC mail as directed will all be responsibilities of the Operations<br \/>Coordinator.<br \/>Administrative Filings &#8211; Working in coordination with the Executive Director, the Operations<br \/>Coordinator will ensure that the CIC maintains all municipal, state, and federal licenses and<br \/>certificates.<br \/>Supply Coordination &amp; Administration &#8211; 15% of hours<br \/>Ordering &#8211; Coordinating with other staff, the Operations Coordinator will ensure that orders are<br \/>created, filled, tracked, and utilized to ensure the smooth functioning of the CIC museum,<br \/>bookstore, education, development, communications, and outreach functions.<br \/>Standards &amp; Practices<br \/>The Operations Coordinator will uphold the mission, vision, and values of the Coastal<br \/>Interpretive Center, more information about which is available on the CIC website.
