In the background is various equipment and an employee working (back turned away from camera). \" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><em>Autofish System \u2013 Credit: WDFW\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><strong><em>Picture yourself,\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">Making an impact on the conservation of wild salmon through maintaining coded wire tagging (CWT) and mass marking equipment.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><strong><em>With your experience,<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">Provide general mechanical repair to water pumps, fish pumps, marking trailers, and portable generators.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><strong><em>You thrive on building collaboration and teamwork,\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">Develop and maintain a positive relationship with vendors providing supplies and services.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><strong><em>We are seeking a candidate,<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">Who models WDFW values: Accountability, Service, Professionalism, Integrity, Respect, and Empathy (ASPIRE).<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<div class=\"container entity-details-content tab-content\">\n<div id=\"details-info\" class=\"tab-pane active fr-view\">\n<dl>\n<dt>\n<h2>Duties<\/h2>\n<\/dt>\n<dd>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Here is what you will be doing,<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Provide critical and timely general maintenance support for the marking and tagging program:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>General mechanical repair to water pumps, fish pumps, marking trailers, and portable generators.<\/li>\n<li>General electrical repairs to equipment up to 240V and 100AMP.<\/li>\n<li>General plumping repairs, and fabrication and welding (primarily aluminum and steel).<\/li>\n<li>Act as liaison between hatcheries and Capital Asset Management Program (CAMP) for marking related maintenance requests.<\/li>\n<li>Deliver parts and supplies to active marking and\/or tagging projects as needed.<\/li>\n<li>Purchase tools, supplies, and equipment as needed for fabrication and repairs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Perform maintenance on highly technical specialized equipment for AutoFish Systems:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>Order and replace computer and robotic components including equipment such as motherboards, small electrical motors, and pneumatic components.<\/li>\n<li>Track AutoFish fleet software versions, upgrades and maintenance requests\/needs.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain operational understanding and aptitude of the AutoFish System.<\/li>\n<li>Act as liaison between Northwest Marine Technology (NMT) and WDFW for the design and improvement of AutoFish Systems and parts requests.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Serve on the unit Safety Team:<\/strong><\/p>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Work with leadership staff, hatchery staff and contract labor to identify and correct any safety issues.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p><strong>Maintain maintenance database:<\/strong><\/p>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop expenditure reports, cost estimates of repairs, and budget requests.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p><strong>WORKING CONDITIONS:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li><strong>Work Setting, including hazards:<\/strong>\n<ul type=\"circle\">\n<li>Various working environments such as Automated\/Manual mass marking and coded wire tag (CWT) mobile wet lab, hatcheries and an office setting.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Work in inclement weather conditions, lift or move 60 pounds commonly (items may include flgyt pumps, large four (4) gauge \u2013 240V power cords, and discharge hoses).
