In addition, proactive communication and strong writing skills are essential to working with the team and clients alike.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019re looking for someone with:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>3+ years of experience in stormwater engineering<\/li>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s or\u00a0master\u2019s degree in a related field<\/li>\n<li>Washington State EIT certification or PE license, or ability to obtain within six months<\/li>\n<li>Skill in design and PS&amp;E project delivery<\/li>\n<li>Experience with the preparation of stormwater design reports<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of\u00a0hydraulic and hydrologic stormwater modeling<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with principles and practices of design development using computer aided design software, examples include AutoCAD Civil3D, ArcGIS, MGSFlood, WWHM, SWMM, HEC-RAS, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication skills for coordination with clients, partners, and team members.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To thrive in this position, you may also have these qualifications:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Active participation in industry organizations such as APWA, ASCE, etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>About the Role<\/h2>\n<p>As a Stormwater Engineer, you\u2019ll work on municipal projects in the planning or design stages. These projects are critical to the success and improvement of our clients\u2019 stormwater infrastructure.\u00a0You\u2019ll work with a highly collaborative team of engineers and civil technicians to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide quality engineering reports, calculations, and exhibits.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct site visits and provide data analysis, as needed.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in the development of plans, specifications, and engineer estimates.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in the development of concept level designs and estimates.<\/li>\n<li>Provide design solutions for projects within budget and time schedules, ensuring compliance to applicable codes, accepted engineering practices, and client and Osborn Consulting standards.<\/li>\n<li>Provide support to the Project Manager for the coordination and development of all project deliverables, including reports, presentations, databases, etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>Location<\/h2>\n<p>This position\u00a0can\u00a0be\u00a0based out of\u00a0the Bellevue of Bellingham OCI offices.
