They provide research support to key leadership at Habitat, as well as to frontline fundraisers, to inform development strategies and advance potential donor relationships.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"ignore-global-css\"><span class=\"ignore-global-css\"><strong class=\"ignore-global-css\">Essential Functions<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<h3 class=\"ignore-global-css\"><span class=\"ignore-global-css\"><strong class=\"ignore-global-css\">Prospect Identification and Research<\/strong><strong class=\"ignore-global-css\">:<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<ul class=\"ignore-global-css\">\n<li class=\"ignore-global-css\"><span class=\"ignore-global-css\">Proactively identify and vet prospects with the capacity and inclination to grow the prospect pipeline and ensure the best prospects are actively qualified, assigned and managed by development officers.<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"ignore-global-css\"><span class=\"ignore-global-css\">Perform prospect research, analyze, synthesize, and summarize information in the form of written prospect profiles and reports.<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"ignore-global-css\"><span class=\"ignore-global-css\">Prepare accurate research briefings for senior leadership and gift officers for the purposes of donor engagement, cultivation, and solicitation.<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"ignore-global-css\"><span class=\"ignore-global-css\">Record, organize and maintain prospect information in electronic files and other information systems.<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"ignore-global-css\"><span class=\"ignore-global-css\">Strategically mine internal databases, external publications, online resources, and leadership networks to identify individual, corporate, and foundation prospects for major gift solicitation assignments.<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"ignore-global-css\"><span class=\"ignore-global-css\">Support regular evaluation of research tools and products and make recommendations on new resources as appropriate.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"ignore-global-css\"><span class=\"ignore-global-css\"><strong class=\"ignore-global-css\">Prospect Management:<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<ul class=\"ignore-global-css\">\n<li class=\"ignore-global-css\"><span class=\"ignore-global-css\">Conduct data entry and maintain data integrity associated with relationship management, prospect tracking, and portfolio maintenance.<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"ignore-global-css\"><span class=\"ignore-global-css\">Complete various prospect management tasks, including prospect coding, tracking, status monitoring, reporting, and the review of dynamic information such as contact notes and account comments.<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"ignore-global-css\"><span class=\"ignore-global-css\">Facilitate monthly prospect review meetings with the development team to analyze key prospects.<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"ignore-global-css\"><span class=\"ignore-global-css\">Provide support for prospect management meetings and portfolio reviews with frontline fundraisers and Development leaders.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"ignore-global-css\"><span class=\"ignore-global-css\"><strong class=\"ignore-global-css\">Advancement Services:<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<ul class=\"ignore-global-css\">\n<li class=\"ignore-global-css\"><span class=\"ignore-global-css\">In partnership with Resource Development Team leaders, assists in developing, documenting, and implementing research and prospect management procedures<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"ignore-global-css\"><span class=\"ignore-global-css\">Cross-train with other staff and assist with records management and gift processing during busy periods;
