The\u00a0Toxics\u00a0Cleanup Program<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0(TCP) within the Department of Ecology is looking to fill a\u00a0Senior Environmental Planner (Environmental Planner 4)\u00a0<\/strong>position. This position is located in our\u00a0Headquarters Office<\/strong>\u00a0in\u00a0Lacey, WA.<\/a>\u00a0Upon hire, you must live within a commutable distance from the duty station.

As the Headquarters Cleanup Section Senior Environmental Planner, you will be responsible for planning, engagement, involvement, and collaboration with stakeholders, environmental groups, local governments, and tribal governments, specifically on cleanup projects managed by the section, including Department of Defense (DoD) sites and Puget Sound Initiative (PSI) Cleanup Sites and Bays. You\u2019ll identify, plan for, and develop solutions to issues involving cleanups so that the cleanup process may proceed as efficiently and effectively as possible.

In this role, you\u2019ll also work to ensure that cultural resource policies, procedures, and guidance for the program, the Department of Ecology, and the State at large, are implemented expediently and accurately at cleanup sites. You\u2019ll accomplish this work with Cultural Resource Specialists within the program, site managers and with Tribes.
