Want to tell the story of a vital state Agency and a dynamic elected official in Washington State? The Washington State Department of Natural Resources (DNR) is looking for a\u00a0Communications Coordinator<\/strong>\u00a0to join our Communications Department.

This position supports other communications managers and contributes to strategic guidance to the Communications Director and Deputy Communications Director, along with division, region, and program staff. This position also helps prepare materials for the commissioner of public lands for media interviews on a range of issues and supports other communications managers in message crafting and editing as needed. This position supports the Communications and Outreach division in outreach to media, the planning and implementation of media events, and in emergencies\/crises. This position also serves as the alternate\/backup webmaster as needed and works with Communications and Outreach staff, region staff, division staff, and program staff to create, edit, and publish agency materials and information on the agency\u2019s public-facing website.\n
