what you will be doing as our Regional Habitat Program Manager,\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li><strong><em>Plan, lead, organize and manage<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0the work performed by the regional habitat team.<\/li>\n<li><strong><em>Create and foster a growing culture<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0of safety in the regional program through active support, engagement with safety teams, leading through example, and providing consistent exposure to safety related topics and issues relative to the regional team. \u00a0<\/li>\n<li><strong><em>Plan for and actively manage<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0the budget allocated to the Region. \u00a0<\/li>\n<li><strong><em>Coach and direct staff<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0working in partnership with various county, state and federal fish and wildlife protection regulations and agreements to achieve protection and restoration needs consistent with statewide best practices. \u00a0<\/li>\n<li><strong><em>Participate in the negotiations<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0for developing mitigation agreements for unavoidable adverse impacts resulting from major development projects in the region. \u00a0<\/li>\n<li><strong><em>Oversee the regional implementation<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0of WDFW\u2019s authority under: RCW 77.55, which includes issuance of Hydraulic Project Approvals. \u00a0Oversee implementation of WDFW authority under RCW 77.57 \u2013 fish passage, and approval of compliance actions under both statutes. \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/li>\n<li><strong><em>Set<\/em><\/strong><strong>\u00a0<em>priorities<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0within the region for the achievement of the Agency\u2019s goals, objectives, and Strategic time at meetings conducting general management and coordination activities or in the office reviewing or creating documents, writing memos, responding to emails, and answering phone inquiries. field.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>AND\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Five (5) years of experience supervising professional staff.\n<ol>\n<li>Consisting of progressive management experience with managerial skills for managing a group of professional level
