Develop and issue wildlife conflict contracts and permits.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Respond to nuisance wildlife and wildlife damage complaints to commercial crops.<\/li>\n<li>Use a firearm to dispatch sick or injured wildlife and haze or aversively condition wildlife.<\/li>\n<li>Create contracts and issue permits to landowners for DPCA and DPCA-L programs.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate with regional and statewide wildlife conflict staff on projects, meetings and training as required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Hunter access programs:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>Develop and implement hunter access programs on private timberlands and private agricultural lands in Northeast Washington. \u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Provide direction and education to the public regarding hunter access opportunities on private lands.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Conduct landowner interviews, write reports and assist with hunter access contract development.<\/li>\n<li>Provide landowners with the materials necessary for the implementation of the WDFW hunter access program including Hunting Only by Written Permission, Hunting by Reservation, Feel Free to Hunt and Cooperative Road Management. \u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Provide signs and posting materials and assist with posting of property boundaries.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Habitat development:<\/strong><\/p>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Work with private landowners to improve, protect and restore wildlife habitat. \u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p><strong>WORKING CONDITIONS:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li><strong>Work Setting, including hazards:<\/strong>\n<ul type=\"circle\">\n<li>Work is performed outdoors, occasionally in inclement weather over difficult terrain, including steep slopes and snow and ice.<\/li>\n<li>Often includes walking, bending, stooping over uneven terrain while carrying, loading, and\/or transporting up to 40 pounds of equipment and gear. \u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Will perform capturing and handling of wildlife and routine and repetitive work.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Schedule:<\/strong>\n<ul type=\"circle\">\n<li>Typically, Monday \u2013 Friday, 8:00 A.M. \u2013 5:00 P.M.<\/li>\n<li>Must be available for non-scheduled workweek and hours.
