Large rocky mountains in the background.  \" \/><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><em>Fly Fishing on the Snoqualmie\u00a0River \u2013 Photo Credit: Sara Szobody\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><strong><em>Our Restoration Specialist,\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<div class=\"container entity-details-content tab-content\">\n<div id=\"details-info\" class=\"tab-pane active fr-view\">\n<dl>\n<dd>\n<p><strong>Leads internal and external coordination, facilitates support, and seeks funding to aid others in developing habitat restoration and enhancement opportunities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead discussions and negotiate agreements associated with habitat restoration projects and opportunities on WDFW lands by cooperatively engaging regional and district teams.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure thorough outreach and education activities supporting restoration efforts are conducted.<\/li>\n<li>Participate on regional teams, as needed, to assess proposed restoration or related research and monitoring projects.<\/li>\n<li>Assess gaps in understanding about restoration effectiveness and work with Habitat Science Division to address gaps.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Develops fundable restoration project proposals and manages planning, design, and\/or implementation of restoration projects:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Working with the Fish Program, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Fisheries, tribal co-managers, and other collaborators, assemble habitat and fisheries data to inform the development of goals, objectives, and actions for advancement of restoration projects.<\/li>\n<li>Identify land ownership and potential project constraints or risks, and options for resolution of these issues.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate with regional habitat, fish and wildlife biologists and engineers, prepare recommendations for WDFW Regional Management Team consideration of project proposals, and brief staff on status of restoration project implementation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Develop and manage grants and effective and efficient budgets:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Work with supervisor and program budget managers to develop fiscally responsible proposals and scopes of work.<\/li>\n<li>Professionally engage WDFW contract and budget management support staff to ensure timely and accurate data reflect management actions.<strong><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>WORKING CONDITIONS:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Work Setting, including hazards:\u00a0<\/strong>\n<ol>\n<li>Work is primarily performed in office and meeting settings and includes traveling to meetings within the Region and statewide.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Fieldwork includes walking over rough terrain for short distances (&lt;1 mile) regularly or occasionally over long distances (several miles). \u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Must be able to negotiate water in emergency situations.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Schedule:\u00a0<\/strong>\n<ol>\n<li>Monday &#8211;
