Adjust feed size and amount fed as directed.<\/li>\n<li>Monitors egg and fish production and Disinfects and enumerates eggs.<\/li>\n<li>Assists in identifying, sorting, and sampling species for spawning and adult distribution.<\/li>\n<li>Cleans ponds and raceways, troughs, and incubator systems to maintain fish health.<\/li>\n<li>Identifies marked adults and collects tags\/marks for bio sampling.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in inventorying and grading fish populations, marking trailer inventories, weight samples and plants.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Picks eggs loss by hand or using equipment and incubates for facility programs or shipments.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Operation and Maintenance of Facility and Equipment:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>Maintains proper water flow and rearing environments as directed.<\/li>\n<li>Actively identifies safety hazards and takes action or recommends remedies as appropriate.<\/li>\n<li>Perform maintenance duties in and around hatchery and residences to preserve a clean and safe working environment as directed.<\/li>\n<li>Applies herbicides or controlled burning for weed control as directed.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain road access to residences, hatchery by plowing, grading, and snow blowers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Record Keeping and Reporting:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>Proficient use of computers and software to perform various aspects of hatchery work.<\/li>\n<li>Record daily fed, mortalities in rearing units, water temperatures and other hatchery related data.<\/li>\n<li>Reports changes in fish behavior and rearing environments to supervisors.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>WORKING CONDITIONS:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li><strong>Work Setting, including hazards:<\/strong>\n<ul type=\"circle\">\n<li>Outside in all weather conditions (raining, snowing, sunny, dark, cold or hot). Repetitively lift at least 50lbs. \u00a0Use respirator and other PPE while working with various chemicals used at facility.
