The Opportunity<\/strong>
WSDOT is currently seeking an experienced environmental professional looking to advance their career into a leadership role to fill the Environmental Senior Lead vacancy located in Vancouver, WA.\u00a0The Southwest Region (SWR) Environmental Office helps meet the agency\u2019s mission and Environmental Policy by incorporating environmental protection and improvements into the Region\u2019s transportation projects. This position is the Environmental Senior Lead for Design Documentation, Permitting, and Construction Compliance and is expected to supervise, coordinate, and manage advanced, complex tasks for region projects. The successful candidate appointed to this position will oversee the implementation and compliance with environmental policies, procedures, and regulations for planning, design, construction, and maintenance. This position works effectively and collaboratively with various federal, state, and local regulatory agencies, tribal government, stakeholders, and the public to resolve complex environmental issues. This position is critical in fostering a respectful and healthy work environment with a focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion.\u00a0
