This position qualifies towards RPF experience requirements.<br \/><br \/><strong><span style=\"color: #005587\">About The Position<\/span><\/strong><br \/>\u2022 Leverage modern technology for on-the-ground forestry applications<br \/>\u2022 Collaborate with internal and contract technical specialists to perform data queries and analysis using GIS<br \/>\u2022 Effectively generate maps and resource reports<br \/>\u2022 Install, troubleshoot, and manage various forestry-related programs and software<br \/>\u2022 Maintain and update GIS map files and associated data in relational databases<br \/>\u2022 Manage data collection for the Company\u2019s annual timber harvest depletion<br \/>\u2022 Manage files and reports related to the Company\u2019s carbon offset program<br \/>\u2022 Read and interpret maps and aerial photography<br \/>\u2022 Hike in extremely remote and mountainous regions using maps, compass, and GPS<br \/><br \/><strong><span style=\"color: #005587\">Qualifications<\/span><\/strong><br \/>\u2022 Bachelors\u2019 degree in Forestry, GIS, or Natural Resources discipline<br \/>\u2022 Working experience using ArcGIS Pro<br \/>\u2022 Demonstrated capability installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining computer programs and software<br \/>\u2022 Proficiency with Microsoft Excel<br \/>\u2022 Experience with R, Python, or SQL databases is a plus<br \/>\u2022 Familiarity with standard data collection tools such as iPads and GPS and file sharing\/data management applications<br \/>\u2022 Working knowledge of forest inventory methods and GIS<br \/>\u2022 Experience with QGIS and Avenza is desirable<br \/>\u2022 Demonstrated organizational skills with superior attention to detail<br \/>\u2022 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills<br \/>\u2022 Positive attitude, self-motivated, ability to work as a team member in a crew environment<br \/>\u2022 Valid California driver\u2019s license<br \/><br \/><strong><span style=\"color: #005587\">Why Join Our Team?<\/span><\/strong><br \/>Because this is more than an invitation, it&#8217;s a commitment to offer opportunities for personal and professional growth to everyone!
