The Department of Natural Resources (DNR) has an exciting opportunity as a Communication Site Manager within our Product Sales and Leasing Division.\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/dd>\n<dt><strong>Duties<\/strong><\/dt>\n<dd>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><br \/>We will trust you with administering existing leases, negotiating new leases, inspecting telecommunications sites, maintaining tower and equipment shelter facilities, developing program enhancements, working with the Office of the Attorney General to develop and improve lease templates, and assisting the Communication Site Program as a responsible and business-minded expert. Administering existing leases may include resolution of road access and vandalism problems, negotiation of rent adjustments, resolution of payment failures, and management of building and tower repairs. \u00a0Negotiating new leases may include the development and execution of prudent business strategies, appraising rents and interpreting others\u2019 rent appraisals, researching basic real estate law, and coordinating with environmental, cultural resource, recreation, and timber resource managers.<\/p>\n<\/dd>\n<dt><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/dt>\n<dd>\n<p><strong>Required Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A Bachelor\u2019s degree in a natural resource science, real property, or study in a similar subject, and two years of professional leasing or land management experience at the entry-level<br \/>OR An equivalent combination of education and\/or experience.<\/li>\n<li>DNR Core Competencies:\n<ul>\n<li>Personal Accountability<\/li>\n<li>Value Others<\/li>\n<li>Compassionate Communication<\/li>\n<li>Inspire Others<\/li>\n<li>Commitment to Excellence<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<strong>Special Requirements and Conditions of Employment:<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>M-F 8:00-4:30, located in the Natural Resource Building.
