Come help us manage state upland rights-of-way throughout the state, helping regions negotiate complex agreements and solve complex property rights challenges.<br \/><br \/>We are looking for a critical thinker with proficient soft skills who is flexible in decision-making. The ideal candidate is able to work with internal and external issues in an active, respectful, and professional manner. The Rights-of-Way Program Manager plays a key role in maintaining an inclusive and respectful work environment while working with internal employees, individual citizens, private industry, government agencies, and stakeholders to ensure trust lands are protected, access is acquired, and problems are resolved through the process of granting and acquiring easements, road use permits, land use licenses, and management agreements. This position will oversee a team of three to four staff to assist with the workload, but the Program Manager will be ultimately responsible for assigning and managing workloads and overseeing work product. This is a position where asking why is a positive, and solving puzzles, (including some that have existed prior to statehood) are waiting to be addressed. Expect a fast-paced work environment, and to be challenged, but know you will have a team to support you.\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/dd>\n<dt><strong>Duties<\/strong><\/dt>\n<dd>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><br \/>This position is responsible for administering the Rights-of-way Granting and Acquisition Programs within the Rights-of-Way Section of the Engineering Division.
