Here is an opportunity as a GIS community to recognize those extraordinary individuals.<\/p>\n<p><strong style=\"font-weight: 600\">Nomination Criteria:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>The individual is with a government organization (state, county, local, federal or tribal) who is assisting another WA government agency.<\/li>\n<li>The time\/ work performed is not part of the person\u2019s normal job duties (meaning there is no additional compensation for completing the work and no requirement per se that they assist).<\/li>\n<li>Must be nominated by November 4th.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Please send nominations or questions to\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:joanne.markert@watech.wa.gov;christinachelf@gmail.com?subject=Government%20Helping%20Government%20Award%20Nomination\">joanne.markert@watech.wa.gov (OCIO) and christinachelf@gmail.com (WAGISA)<\/a>.
