grounds, buildings and facilities in an assigned division or area.<\/p>\n<p>In the performance of their respective tasks and duties all employees are expected to:<\/p>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Perform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision.<\/li>\n<li>Interact professionally with other employees, customers and suppliers.<\/li>\n<li>Work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments.<\/li>\n<li>Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees and organizations.<\/li>\n<li>Observe applicable safety requirements, use safety equipment provided, implement appropriate safety practices at all times and report immediately any unsafe working conditions or hazards.<br \/><br \/><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p><strong>Essential Duties<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0Assist with routine building and ground maintenance.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Assist in performing custodial and cleanup functions as required.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Clean windows, restrooms, toilets, sinks, mirrors and walls.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Transplant, fertilize, water, trim and prune shrubs, trees and flowers as assigned.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Assist with setting and cleaning conservatory plant displays.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Answer questions and provide other customer service duties<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Sweep and blow debris from walks and driveways.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Gather and remove trash from grounds..<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Move furniture, equipment and other objects as required<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Unload plant delivery van<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Maintain a clean and safe work environment.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Water, fertilize, transplant a variety of crops<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Perform a variety of tasks related to landscape maintenance.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Assist with Plant sales on and offsite<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Assist in the monitoring and removal of plant pests using IPM strategies.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Operate a variety of Point-of-Sale systems.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Monitor rentals<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Lead educational tours<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Participate in conservatory outreach programming.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Cash handling.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Assist with educational programs as directed.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Other duties as assigned.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Minimum Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0Must be able to operate a variety of hand tools and maintenance equipment to perform assigned tasks.<br \/>\u00a0\u2022 Must be able to operate cash registers and credit machines and reconcile cash drawer.<br \/>\u00a0\u2022 Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds<br \/>\u00a0\u2022 Must have good oral communication skills<br \/>\u00a0\u2022 Must be able to work independently with minimum supervision<br \/>\u00a0\u2022 Must be able to work flexible schedule to include weekends and\/or holidays as needed<br \/>\u00a0\u2022 Must be at least 18 years of age.<\/p>\n<p><strong>For more
