With your experience you will provide expert level consultation to staff, managers, job applicants and students. Provide guidance to HR staff on recruitment, selection, outreach, inclusion, and diversity. As such, this position is expected to remain knowledgeable about areas of expertise and communicate advice and guidance professionally and effectively. \/><\/strong><strong><em>Here is some of what our Talent Acquisition Specialist will do,<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><em>Provide consulting<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0in\u00a0areas of, recruitment, selection, affirmative action, diversity, and career counseling.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><em>Review pos<\/em><\/strong><strong><em>i<\/em><\/strong><strong><em>t<\/em><\/strong><strong><em>i<\/em><\/strong><strong><em>on desc<\/em><\/strong><strong><em>ri<\/em><\/strong><strong><em>ptions<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0and required qualifications for accuracy and work with hiring managers and HR Consultants to update as needed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><em>Achieve staffing objectives<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0by recruiting and evaluating job candidates and consulting with hiring managers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><em>Develop, create, and maintain recruitment announcements<\/em><\/strong><em>,<\/em>\u00a0questionnaires, and bid notifications with assistance and input from supervisors and managers to align with position description.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><em>Provide guidance to hiring managers<\/em><\/strong>, employees, and applicants regarding recruitment status, policies and procedures, applicable areas of the collective bargaining agreements, civil service rules, and other state and federal laws such as American Disabilities Act (ADA), Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), and Title VII.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><em>Attract diverse applicant pools<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0through outreach utilizing social media, job fairs, education, and training.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><em>Assist Supervisor with internship\/volunteer<\/em><\/strong><em>\u00a0<strong>programs<\/strong><\/em>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><em>Attend recruitment hiring events<\/em><\/strong><em>,<\/em>\u00a0job fairs, and outreach programs virtual or in person.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p><strong>WORKING CONDITIONS:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Work Setting, including hazards: \u00a0 \u00a0<\/strong>\n<ol>\n<li>Office setting, at a personal computer majority of the day \u2013 telework options may be available.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Schedule:<\/strong>\n<ol>\n<li>Typically, Monday \u2013 Friday, 7:30 a.m. &#8211; 4:00 p.m.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Workload demands may require work outside the interacting with the public.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<br \/><\/strong><strong>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Four (4) years of professional (paid) level experience engaged in Human Resources or a similar field doing equivalent work.\u00a0\n<ol>\n<li>With at least two (2) years of experience in Recruiting. \u00a0\n<ul>\n<li>This experience may be concurrent with the required four (4) years of experience noted above.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Demonstrated Competencies:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Possess advanced creative writing and grammar skills for drafting recruitments and marketing of positions as well as other professional written communications.<\/li>\n<li>Intermediate level skills with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with Microsoft Publisher or other graphic software.<\/li>\n<li>Outward focused and can communicate clearly with a friendly demeanor to customers.<\/li>\n<li>Highly organized in their work and can demonstrate efficiency.<\/li>\n<li>Experience using social media including, but not limited to LinkedIn for building diversity and inclusion and sourcing applicants and building professional relationships related to WDFW activities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Certifications\/Licenses:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Valid Driver\u2019s License.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p><strong>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:<\/strong><\/p>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Management,
