Therefore, if a qualified candidate from within the bargaining unit applies, that person could be selected for the position.<\/p>\n<p>This Full Time GIS Analyst Sr position provides support for the development, implementation, and maintenance of the Mason County Geographic Information System (GIS).<\/p>\n<p>This position requires knowledge, understanding, and experience applying GIS technology solutions to local government enterprise GIS.<\/p>\n<p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS<br \/><\/strong>Education and Experience Requirements:<\/p>\n<p>Bachelor\u2019s degree in Geography\/Cartography\/GIS, Civil Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. Four years minimum experience, including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1 years of program or project management experience,<\/li>\n<li>experience training non-GIS personnel in GIS applications,<\/li>\n<li>experience in application programming and development using VBA, XML, JSP, SQL and<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Necessary Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Knowledge the principles and techniques of applying GIS technology solutions to local<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of FGDC Metadata content and accuracy<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of Oracle, SQL and\/or<\/li>\n<li>Skills in using the ESRI suite of products and<\/li>\n<li>Ability to structure and design databases<\/li>\n<li>Ability to manage time efficiently<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Licenses:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Valid WA State Driver\u2019s License<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>APPLICATION &amp; SELECTION PROCESS<\/strong> <br \/><strong>Applicants are required to submit a <a href=\"https:\/\/masoncountywa.gov\/forms\/human-resources\/mc_job_application_web.pdf\">Mason County employment application<\/a> and resume. <\/strong>The completed application may include additional pages of employment history using the application format.
