Successful candidates will work with a multidisciplinary team of accomplished scientists, planners, engineers, arborists, and landscape architects in a growing 40-year-old employee-owned company based in Kirkland, Washington. In addition to our Kirkland office, we have several offices conveniently located throughout the Puget Sound area, including:<\/strong><\/p>\n Seattle<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Mount Vernon<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Whidbey Island<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Federal Way<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n Duties and Expectations The following duties apply:<\/strong><\/p>\n Facilitate marketing plan and budget for staff-owned consulting firm, working with closely with the Marketing Manager<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Coordinate and produce outstanding proposals and presentations<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Assist with direction of firm\u2019s RFP\/RFQ process, including proposal planning, pre-positioning, \u201cgo-no-go\u201d decisions and teaming efforts.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Manage or coordinate online presence, including website, blog and social media<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Design and coordinate marketing collateral, including posters\/ displays, cutsheets and advertising.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Compose, edit, create, and maintain resume and project descriptions in CRM database<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Write, proofread, and edit creative and technical content across different mediums<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n The following minimum qualities apply:<\/strong><\/p>\n 3 years minimum experience in professional services marketing, including proposal preparation<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Experience with architecture, engineering, landscape architecture or environmental services required<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Bachelor\u2019s degree in communications, marketing, graphic design, English or similar<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Outstanding communication skills, written and verbal<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office applications and proven experience using InDesign and Adobe Creative Suite\/Creative Cloud<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Artful graphic design<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Website management experience using a content management system<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Position is expected to be 32 hours per week<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n Preferred Skills (not required):<\/strong><\/p>\n Photography<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n Good skills in additional Creative Suite \/ Creative Cloud programs (Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n Desired Experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n Bachelor\u2019s degree in Communications, Graphic Design, Marketing, or similar<\/p>\n<\/li>\n 2 years or more experience in a marketing and graphic design role<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n Salary and Benefits The Watershed Company is committed to providing a diverse and inclusive workplace where all employees are valued and respected.
