the primary assistant and advisor to the Regional Director, and have delegated authority on all financial, administrative, and business needs.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>With your experience,<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0you will provide consultation and recommend changes to agency practices to mitigate risks and improve communication with the public.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>You are excited to<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0act as the project manager for regional facility short and long-term project objectives, and be responsible for the entire project management lifecycle.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>We are seeking a candidate<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0to\u00a0provide leadership to build and support key agency policies and initiatives while promoting a diverse and inclusive work force.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong>Duties<br \/><\/strong><\/span><strong><em>Our Regional Operations Manager,\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Responsible for the overall management and operations of the regional headquarters facility and supporting operations at other regional properties.<\/li>\n<li>Ensures that space utilization and modern work environment standards are met and coordinates access to office resources needed for regional employees to perform their essential functions.<\/li>\n<li>Represents the region at the enterprise level and has delegated authority to develop, oversee, and manage the operational, administrative, and facility budgets.<\/li>\n<li>Serves as the project manager in the formulation, planning, allocation, and management of budget for regional facility contracts and improvement projects and coordinates contracted services for all aspects of facility maintenance and improvements, including permitting, construction, data, engineering, maintenance, and security.<\/li>\n<li>Establishes facility security measures, responds to incidents, conducts and\/or facilitates investigations, and implements mitigation measures in coordination with the Regional Director to reduce future occurrences.<\/li>\n<li>Supports the Regional Director with administrative office duties and prepares regional budget to inform agency wide decision making with consideration to the legislative budget.<\/li>\n<li>Conducts research, analyzes and interprets data, and provides regional perspective on complex issues to generate recommendations to improve cross program and agency wide processes, communication, and organizational change.<\/li>\n<li>Works with confidential information, critical logistic coordination, and time sensitive calendaring.<\/li>\n<li>Ensures that external communications adhere to established agency policies.<\/li>\n<li>Supervises and provides leadership, direction, and performance management to a team consisting of regional customer service specialists and administrative and office assistants.<\/li>\n<li>Analyzes, develops, and implements regionally specific quality improvement processes to ensure seamless and efficient delivery of services.<\/li>\n<li>Sets goals and objectives, develops strategies to implement, and develops performance measurements and standards for the purpose of ensuring individual and cross program performance objectives are met.<\/li>\n<li>Serves as a liaison to agency committees, workgroups, and multidisciplinary teams to implement agency wide initiatives, address varying issues and resolve conflicting interests.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong>WORKING CONDITIONS<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Work Setting, including hazards:<\/strong>\n<ol>\n<li>The duty station for this position is at the regional headquarters.<\/li>\n<li>Remote\/telework options may be available, but most of the work requires the incumbent to be in the office.<\/li>\n<li>This position performs a variety of complex, stand alone, time sensitive duties that affect all regional programs and staff.<\/li>\n<li>The incumbent must be flexible, and able to facilitate cooperation and motivate team members to accomplish goals.<\/li>\n<li>Typical work frequently requires the use of initiative and independent judgement.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Schedule:<\/strong>\n<ol>\n<li>Typical schedule is 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday.<\/li>\n<li>A varied schedule may be required due to workload demand and responding to emergencies.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Travel Requirements:<\/strong>\n<ol>\n<li>Occasional travel required.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Tools and Equipment:<\/strong>\n<ol>\n<li>Laptop, phone, and other office technology equipment.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Customer Interactions:<\/strong>\n<ol>\n<li>This position works collaboratively with the Director\u2019s Office, the Regional Program Managers and Enforcement Captain and their respective staffs, to ensure cross-program coordination and communication related to agency business practices.<\/li>\n<li>Additionally, this position interacts with constituents, stakeholders, local governments, and co-managers.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong>Qualifications<br \/><\/strong><\/span><strong>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>One (1) year of experience as an Administrative Assistant 4.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>OR<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Two (2) years of experience as an Administrative Assistant 3.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>OR<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A Bachelor&#8217;s degree in public administration, business administration or closely allied field <strong>and<\/strong> three (3) years of administrative or supervisory experience.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Please note:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Qualifying experience may substitute year over year for a degree.<\/li>\n<li>Graduate study may substitute for up to two years of experience on a year-for-year QUALIFICATIONS:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience in and\/or familiarity with state government and state agency operations.<\/li>\n<li>Experience drafting, editing, and finalizing executive
