The Hiring Manager reserves the right to close the posting at any time when a selection has been made.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong>Duties<br \/><\/strong><\/span><strong>Prepares and processes personnel actions for resignations, terminations, new hires, promotions, transfers, reallocations, extended leaves, etc. with associated data-entry keying requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Receives approved HR Action forms, verifies information, and prepares for data entry.<\/li>\n<li>Accurately and in accordance with timetable enters information into the (SAP) Human Resource Management System (HRMS) by prioritizing workload and using effective dating as efficiency tool.<\/li>\n<li>Sends copies of screens with brief description of hiring action to Payroll and IT for audits and for final processing of actions.<\/li>\n<li>Prepares variety of HRMS reports for monitoring of tasks, Periodic Increment Dates (PIDs), employee status, etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Processes new hires and separating employees:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prepares appointment letters (electronic mailing issued for most notifications, communications and file copies to supervisors, managers, and directors).<\/li>\n<li>Researches employees\u2019 state employment history for periodic increment applicability or audits for inaccuracies.<\/li>\n<li>Enters into HRMS, creation, reallocation, abolishment, and relationship changes to positions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>WORKING CONDITIONS:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Work Setting, including hazards:\u00a0<\/strong>\n<ol>\n<li>Work is performed in a confidential office setting, work is fast-paced and high-volume.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Schedule: \u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>\n<ol>\n<li>Typical schedule is 8:00 a.m. \u2013 5:00 p.m., Monday \u2013 Friday.<\/li>\n<li>Workload demands may require work outside the assigned work hours and adjustment of work schedules.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Travel Requirements: \u00a0 \u00a0<\/strong>\n<ol>\n<li>Occasional travel may be required throughout the State to attend trainings, meetings, and conferences.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Tools and Equipment: \u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>\n<ol>\n<li>Computer hardware, software, and general office equipment.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong>Qualifications<br \/><\/strong><\/span><strong>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:<\/strong><\/p>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Four (4) years of office experience.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p><strong>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 OR\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>A Bachelor\u2019s degree with focus on business, human resources, social or organizational behavioral sciences, or a related field.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p><strong>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 OR<\/strong><\/p>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Equivalent education\/experience.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p><strong>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:<\/strong><\/p>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Six (6) months of experience using the State\u2019s Human Resource Management System (HRMS) payroll software or a similar software.<br \/><br \/><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p><strong>CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT: <\/strong>WDFW requires all employees to be fully vaccinated with the COVID-19 vaccine as a condition of employment. \u00a0You will be required to provide proof of vaccination as part of the hiring process.
